May 2020 - Part 3 - Kinder and 5th Grade Graduation Parade, final TEAMS chat, playing, Graduation Pics and more!!!

5-20-2020 Bennett held a Kindergarten and 5th Grade Graduation Honk Parade.  Jacen chose to hang out with me and wave at people instead of driving through.  We had a great time with the 5th grade team!!!  Mrs. LaQuey brought bubble guns for everyone!!  We had lots of fun shooting each other and the kids!!!

While at the school for the honk parade, I decided to take our normal last day of school pics even though the next day was technically the last day!!!

5-21-2020 For our last day of school, we had a TEAMS chat where, instead of just inviting our homerooms, we invited the whole 5th grade!!!  A lot of them joined and it was very neat.  We celebrated Reveur which was the winning house for the year, and Mrs. Britt created a powerpoint of pics.  Here are a few of them with no children showing of course!!

Then later on that day, because a sweet parent bought a cap and gown and let us borrow it, Jacen and I went to the school to take graduation pics!!!!  This first pic is his Kinder graduation pic.

5-22-2020 Mommy Jacen night!!  We played with circuits, his spinners, lots of old Kiwi Crates, and balloons!  We had a great night!

5-23-2020 Jacen and Daddy ordering Legos from all of the wonderful donations that have been sent to us!!!  We also celebrated his 5th grade graduation with decorated cookies and giving him "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" book that we have had signed each year by his teachers since daycare at Ripley Do Dah's!!!!  Then that evening was Family Game night!

May 2020 - Part 2 - Awards, Movie Night, Mother's Day and more!!!

5-9-2020 Mommy got to present Jacen's awards to him!!  He got a Graduation Diploma, Battle of the Books award, Excellence in Math, Reading, and Social Studies, Science Club - Super Scientist, Frenship Student of the Month, and 4th place at UIL in Chess Puzzles.

Then that evening we had Hot Dogs and Movie night!

5-10-2020 Mother's Day!!!  Jacen made me a card, Daddy and Jacen got me a giftcard to Woodhouse, and every year they pick a picture to add to my book and Jacen writes me a note in there as well!!!  A fun Jacen pic with Justice!  Mommy picked 5 Guys Burgers and Fries for dinner!

5-11-2020 I helped with supply/personal items pick up at school, so I got to see lots of my students!!!  I even got a sweet note and giftcard!!!

5-13-2020 Cereal for the teachers at school!!  This was a Teacher Appreciation week activity that got moved to this week because of weather!!! That evening Kyle and I took a walk.  Notice the rainbow!

5-17-2020 Church online!!!  Then the Stanley's came by to visit!! It was so good to see them!

5-18-2020 Jacen finding random toys like his old spinners to play with today!  Science lesson today was to make an oven out of foil to heat up a S'Mores!!!  He also got out his robot to play with again!  He made an arm that would swing like golf!!!

5-19-202 I spent the day at school packing my room away for the summer :(   That evening it hailed!  More robot playing!
