Color Run

Color Run Lubbock, TX

Laura convinced me to sign up on a team our coworker Connie created.  Then we convinced Holly like two days before because someone had a ticket they didn't want.  We had a great time and hope to do another one soon!!!!

 We found Laura!!!

 

The race started at 9, but because there were so many runners they started us in what I would call heats.  We actually started at 10am!!!!!  There were like 14,000 participants!!

 We all finished!!!!  I ran it in 33 minutes :)

Jacen Went to Dallas

March 19 - 21, 2013

Jacen flew to Dallas with Aunt Laci to spend time with more family on their Spring Break.  He got to see Grandpa, MiMi, Uncle EJ, Aunt Laci, Aunt Beth, Savannah, Aunt Tiffany, and Valerie.

Since Aunt Laci is a flight attendant for Southwest, she knows some of the pilots.  She knew the pilot that was flying and since Jacen loves airplanes and currently wants to be a pilot , she was able to introduce him to Brad.  He got to sit for a few minutes in the cockpit.  He was in "heaven" :)

He even got a window seat which is what he loves!!!

I know they had lots of fun, have a marshmallow and weiner roast, played with Valerie's dog, and lots more fun activities.

Grandpa asked the pilot if Jacen could sit up front again.  This time he got to seat in the pilot seat.  He loved it!!!!

Spring Break 2013

We started out our trip by going to Goldthwaite to see my family.  We saw my Mom and Kevin, Dad and Tracy, Bill (Dad), Samantha, Amy and Travis, Madisyn and Blaine.  We had a great visit.

 All of the kids love the doll house that was Samantha's when she was little.

 We spent time over at PawPaw and MeMe's house too, but evidently I forgot to take the camera in :(

I know we went on a golf cart ride, Jacen helped PawPaw gather the chicken eggs, visited, Jacen cleaned because he is silly, and ate dinner!!!

 Then we traveled to Medina to see Kyle's Grandparents.

 Great Grandpa took them on a motorcycle ride.  We are in trouble.  Jacen loved it!!!

 We spent time at their construction company while we were there too.  Jacen, Daddy, and Patches looking at the crusher and throwing rocks in.
