2019 April Part 1 - Soccer Game, Robotics Competition, and More!!

4-1-19  Jacen's first Orthodontist appointment!  His dentist wanted us to take him just to see what they thought and to get a plan.  At the first appointment, they said he needed an expander for the top, so the journey begins!

4-2-19 Hanging out with Emerson after robotics!

4-4-19 Kynzli and Graham invited me to their soccer game, and it turns out they were playing Avery's team!

4-5-19 Jacen jumping rope in the driveway after school!

4-6-19 Cereal Party at Alamo Drafthouse watching Shazaam!

Then that evening Jacen completed his book report project about "The Tiger Rising"!  The evening ended with Texas Tech winning another game!

4-7-19  The Stanley's came in to town to visit, and since we weren't able to go to Abilene for Kambree's birthday we celebrated early :)

4-8-19 Jacen as an anchor on the morning news!

4-12-19 Mommy and Jacen night with Chilito's for dinner followed by creating a Lava Lamp!

4-13-19 Robotics Competition!!  They didn't win, but they tried and were focused for all 3 rounds!

That evening we had Mommy and Jacen movie night!

4-16-19 Urban Dessert Works!

4-17-19 Jacen as an anchor again on the school news!  Then for part of the Easter lesson in the kid's area at church, kids along with preacher Barry got to take turns cracking eggs on each other's heads.  They didn't know if they were hard boiled or raw!! The one Jacen had was hard boiled, but the one Barry had was raw!  Jacen's head was yucky!!!

4-18-19 Muffins with Mom but really Donuts with Mom in the classroom before school started!

Then that afternoon someone finally got me with a confetti egg!  Mrs. Cooley used Jacen to get me!!!

Then after school Jacen got his expander from Wentz!!!!

2019 March Part 3 - Baking a Cake, Robotics Practice Meet and more!!!!

3-17-19 Jacen decided he wanted to try making a cake for the first time!  He doesn't try anything little though.  He wanted to try a 3-tiered cake with caramel icing!!!

3-20-19 Urban Dessert Works to survive the first few days back after Spring Break!!!

3-22-19 Mommy and Jacen Night with Chilito's for dinner and Lego building afterwards!

3-28-19 On the 8th anniversary of Nathan's passing, Kyle and started the day by taking snacks to the wonderful staff at Hospice of Lubbock.  Then we went to the cemetery to set out flowers, read to Nathan, and say prayers.  Then we spent some much needed Kyle and Stephanie time with breakfast at Pancake House, pedicures, and Urban Dessert Works.

3-29-19 Daddy got to go to Jacen's field trip this year at Texas Tech!!!

Then that evening it was Mommy and Jacen night with Chilito's for dinner and building a robot with his Kiwi Crate!!!

3-30-19 We spent the evening watching the Red Raiders win!!!!
