March 2019 Part 1 - Kiwi Crates, Hailey and Ryland, Spring Break Part 1 and more!

3-1-19 Mommy and Jacen night involved putting together one of Jacen's Kiwi Crates that made a light crystal!

3-2-19 He decided to put together another one of his Kiwi Crates which made an alarm game!!!  Then that afternoon we met Hailey and Ryland at Chuy's for a late lunch!

3-9-19 Jacen and Daddy were looking at something on Daddy's phone!

3-10-19 We arrived in Temple, and Jacen immediately wanted to complete another Kiwi Crate with Grandma that made a spinning paint thing!  We also enjoyed some time with Stone!!!!  Then that evening Amy, Madisyn, Blaine, Jacen and I went to one of their favorite playgrounds in Temple!

3-11-19 Next up was going to Waco to the Cameron Park Zoo!  The kids had fun looking at all of the animals and running around!

Then we decided to stop by Magnolia Markets!

Once we arrived back in Temple the kids wanted to go to another favorite playground!!!

February 2019 Part 2 - Regional Science Fair, Battle of the Books and More!

2-16-19  Kyle's cousins Rowdy and Laki and their families came through Lubbock on the way home from Colorado.  So we met them at Rosa's to eat dinner and visit!  The kids were fascinated by the tortilla maker!

Urban Dessert works stop!!!

2-21-19  Jacen and two other students from Bennett participated in the South Plains Regional Science Fair at Texas Tech!  Jacen received a Blue Ribbon, Medal, and SPRSEF Certificate of Excellence Award!

2-22-19 Jacen participated in Battle of the Books at School!  Their team placed 2nd out of the 5 4th grade teams!   Jacen was one of only two students in 4th grade who read all of the 10 books!  We are proud of him!!!!

2-23-19 Legos and Family Game Night!

2-24-19 Daddy and Jacen Lego time!!!  Then that evening we went to Small Group where Jacen played very nicely with the little kids :)

February Part 1 - Lego Robot, Frenship High School Musical, Valentine's Day and More!!!

2-2-19 Jacen decided he wanted to completely take apart his Lego Mindstorm Robot and rebuild is differently!  Then that evening we went to watch Frenship High School perform Once Upon This Island.  They did a fabulous job.  Part way through the show one of the actors gave Jacen his hat, so afterwards we got a pic of Jacen and the sweet guy!  And of course we had to get a pic with Samantha Gang one of my former student's sisters!  We returned home to more building of the robot!!!

2-3-19 We hung out with friends for the Super Bowl!  Jacen brought his robot.  Rylan was fascinated!

2-5-19 Jacen wanted a pic with his robot :)

2-8-19 and 2-9-19 Jacen had a sleepover at Miles's house!

2-14-19 Valentine's Day!
