Busy Week!!!!!

Jacen and I ran errands and had play dates on Wednesday and Friday morning. We went to a park with Elizabeth, Avery, and Briley on Wednesday. On Friday, we went to the Luft's house to play. Kyle has started coming home on the way to church on Wednesdays to get Jacen, so he can go too.

We had Nathan's two chiropractor visits and ECI. Nathan also had his eye appointment on Wednesday afternoon. Dr. Cockings did confirm what we had suspected, that Nathan is blind.

Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch. We tried and tried to take family pics, but Jacen was not too sure about the corn stalks. Nathan just got really mad. We did get a few of Jacen and the big pumpkins. We will hopefully try again soon!!!!

We took a few stroller rides this week when it was still cold in the mornings!!!

Tummy Time, Legacy Play Village, and Hair Cuts

Nathan continues to love tummy time. He continues to surprise us with how well he can hold his head up.

Jacen and I spent our Wednesday morning playing at Legacy. He loved swinging, sliding, and crawling/walking everywhere!!! He didn't want to leave. We visited Daddy and went grocery shopping on Friday morning. The Wednesday morning and Friday morning nursing care for Nathan are great times for Jacen and I to spend time together.

We took the boys to get their hair cut for the first time on Thursday. Their hair still isn't very long, but there were really long pieces and it was very uneven. So my hair stylist Megan cut their hair for us.

Outside, Respite Care, Playing in the Rain, and Grandparents

Jacen loves Daddy's sunglasses, playing outside, climbing, and my water bottles. He figured out this week how to climb up onto the kitchen chair and onto the table. We are definitely in trouble. He also climbed the stairs at church today! He is getting closer and closer to walking. He will take 4 or 5 steps on his own to get from one place to another.

We have a nurse coming in for Respite care now 8 hours a week through MDCP to help with Nathan, so Jacen and I get to hang out or grocery shop or whatever we need to do on Wednesday and Friday mornings. This week we went to the mall play area. I had hoped to go to a park, but the weather didn't allow that. We had lots of fun!!!!

This weekend Daddy and Jacen played in the rain. Jacen loved it!!!!!!

My Mom and Stepdad came to visit. We had fun playing and visiting!

Please continue to pray for Nathan. We have had a long week. We went from Nathan having lots of congestion, which kept him from being able to hold his feeding down, to a dry cough. During all of this we haven't gotten much sleep. Hopefully he will start feeling better soon!

Party, Tummy Time, and Monkey

Saturday we went to a birthday party for a friend from church. This was the first time that Jacen has really had a cupcake and played in the courtyard at church since their first birthday party. He had a blast. It was a Texas Tech party, so he also got his first tattoo.

Once we got home, Kyle took lots of pictures trying to get a good one of the tattoo that Jacen got at the party. I had to include some of the cute expressions!!!!!

Tummy Time

Nathan was in a great mood, so I took lots of pictures. Here are a few.

Our Little Monkey has no fear!!!! He climbed onto the recliner, then to the bed, and onto the nightstand. Then outside another day he decided to climb on the swimming pool that is upside down.

After climbing everywhere Jacen got bored and laid down to watch cartoons!

Jacen took 4 steps to me and 6 steps to Kyle on Wednesday, September 15th!!!!!!!!!
