April 2020 - Part 1 - Remote learning, KiwiCrates, Playing Outside, and more!

4-1-20 Crazy sock day!!  We are still having dress up days even though we are doing remote learning! Jacen imitating the dog!  In the afternoon, Jacen pulled out lots of his old KiwiCrates to play with them again!

4-2-2020 Go outside and play day for remote learning!  Jacen spent time building and playing with Legos.  He also practiced his spelling words on Spelling City.  Then Mommy and Jacen played Legos.  Then Mommy and Justice sat outside while Jacen played!  Then it was back to more Lego building!

4-3-2020 Wear pajamas for remote learning!  Jacen wore his pajamas to participate too while doing an assignment on the iPad.  In the afternoon he had fun playing outside!!  For dinner we had Cast Iron Grill delivered and watched "Onward".  Then for Jacen Mommy night we made snickerdoodle cookies and built a new KiwiCrate!!!!

4-4-2020 Jacen and Mommy dressed the dog up in Jacen's Isibindi stuff.  The dog wasn't impressed!  Then it was time for another KiwiCrate build!  Afternoon snack, cupcakes from The Cakery and drinks from Tova!  Then that evening for family night we had Orlando's and game night!

4-8-2020 Jacen and Mommy playing "War" the card game, Lego building, and jump roping!

4-9-2020 Schoolwork, then talking to a friend on the phone while playing a video game on the Switch.  Then playing outside!  He likes to run up the slide and then turn around and slide down!

4-10-2020 Mommy and Jacen playing Monopoly!!!  Daddy picked up an order of pies from Pie Bar that he delivered to Hospice of Lubbock for their fabulous employees.  Thanks to his Mom for the donation to make that happen!  After dinner, we ate some awesome dessert from our wonderful neighbor Dottie!!!  Playing outside again!

4-11-2020 Finishing up our Monopoly game!  Jacen and Justice hanging out!  Jacen built an awesome fort for a Monterey Church of Christ children's ministry challenge!  Then Mommy and Jacen playing board games inside!  Reading in his fort and playing with Justice. Finally, we did our family Bible study in the fort!

3-27-2020 Reading together!  Justice and Jacen!  Mommy Jacen night making brownies, playing outside and building another Kiwi Crate!!  We also decided to be silly and stick extra pieces to our noses!

During this time he was playing with the motor and the clay to see what would happen.  It was quite entertaining!

3-30-30 Virtual Dress Up Day - support your favorite team!  Jacen's first day of Remote Learning!

3-31-2020  Today's virtual day was to build a creation, so I made I Miss U out of Legos and posted to my students on Seesaw.  Jacen did a Shadow Activity for science after building his Lego creation!  He also built a blanket fort to read in for reading today!  That afternoon we played Hangman.  That evening we played with magnets!
