The first 3 pictures are of Nathan and Jacen holding pictures that a sweet boy named Gideon colored for the boys. His family keeps up with us on our blog and brought the pictures to my Mom in Goldthwaite. Thank you Gideon!!!!!!
Below are pics of our snow this week which is the coldest week that Lubbock has seen in a long time with temps in the single digits and wind chills way below 0.
Jacen just wanted to walk around in it but definitely not touch it!!!!!
Patches loved running in the snow :)
There was ice under the snow here, so Jacen was fascinated by the crackling sound it made when he stomped on it.
He walked all over the yard following Patches!!!!
I caught Jacen drawing with his right hand (he usually writes with his left), so we will still have to wait to see what hand he chooses.
Patches actually being still for Jacen to pet him!!!!
Jacen in the recliner with his keys Daddy gave him, the keyboard, and my phone. Forget kid toys :)
We all got the stomach bug during this very frigid week. Nathan got dehydrated, so he had to stay in the hospital from Friday to this Monday. It was a long weekend. They had to carefully rehydrate him while closely monitoring his kidney function. With Nathan's impaired renal function this wasn't an easy task. We came home with his numbers almost back to his normal but his little body retained some of the fluids. So we are waiting to see if his body will flush the fluids on its own.
While in the hospital Daddy read some books to him.
It snowed again on Sunday. Jacen wanted to go outside and play!!!! It didn't really stick but the flakes were huge!!!!
