They are Almost 1 Year Old

NATHAN

Nathan continues to be more content because of his chiropractor appointments. He loves tummy time and has even started scooting. He seems to be trying to get his thumb in his mouth. We are working on eating cereal again. Medically he is still the same with the nephrologist predicting that he will outgrow his kidney function by about age 2. He still takes lots of medications for his kidneys, liver, heart, and seizures. Every day is a new day with bottling meaning that some days we are done in 15 minutes and other days it will take an hour. He continues to spit up/throw up frequently. Nathan and I continue to sleep in the recliner. On good nights, I can move to the couch once he has fallen asleep. We simply do our best to take it one day at a time and enjoy each moment while still praying for a miracle.

We have started cereal again!!!!

Nathan continues to move during tummy time.

JACEN

Jacen continues to be a happy child. He refuses baby food by sucking his thumb unless it is oat cereal. So he now eats all table/finger foods. He is getting really good at feeding himself and drinking from a sippy cup. He continues to crawl and get into everything. He enjoys mostly things that aren't toys. He pulls up on anything and will cruise if there is something he wants. He loves to laugh and is finding his voice. He says momma, dadda, and other things we think we have heard once or twice like bye bye, bubba, and pup. He loves to go outside or even sit at the door and look outside.

Jacen can't decide if he wants to crawl out the door with Patches or not.

He loves mirrors.

Open and Close over and over

Until he decided it was more fun to fall sideways to Open and Close

Nothing is safe on the coffee table anymore.
Keys are fun to bang on the table.

He loves opening doors and pulling items out.

Open and close, open and close

Strawberries

First real "big boy" bath!!!!!!!

Any chance we get, we take a stroller ride!!!
