October 2022 - Part 1 -Tennis, Church stuff, and more!

10-4-22 Tennis versus Evans Middle School this week.  Again, King and Jacen won doubles, and Jacen won his singles! Eric and Caleb came to watch Jacen play tennis.  We love the Monterey youth ministers!

10-5-22 Sophie and Jacen being silly!  Then that evening the youth group attended Fields of Faith in the United Supermarkets Arena because of weather!

10-7-22 Granny B, James, and Great Grandma came through Lubbock on their way to Medina, so we got to visit and have dinner with them!

10-9-22 Youth Group pictures!!!  And Jacen "volunteering" at Kids Club at church!

10-11-22 Tennis this time against Lubbock Cooper Middle School.  King and Jacen won their doubles, and Jacen won his singles!

10-15-22 Another UTR tennis tournament at Burgess Rushing Tennis Center!  Then that evening we built a gumball machine and did experiments with it!

10-16-22 Jacen and the little kids playing at small group!

10-20-22 Student Council headed to the food bank to volunteer!

10-21-22 Jacen and Emie "dressed up" to help pass out candy at Fiesta Friday at church :) 

September 2022 - Student Council, Tennis and More!!!

9-1-22 They had their first early morning student council meeting for the year.  The student council leadership started the meeting off with some songs!  Then that evening Jacen attending a volleyball game!

9-3-22 Jacen participated in a Saturday tennis tournament at Burgess Rushing Tennis Center.

9-6-22 Pic of Mom and Jacen before school! Then that afternoon the Varsity Tennis team headed to Irons Middle School to compete again the Cougars.  Jacen and King won their doubles 8-4, and Jacen won his singles 8-0!

9-9-22 Jacen attended homecoming with friends!

9-12-22 King and Jacen won 8-0 on doubles, and Jacen won 8-2 on singles against Laura Bush!

9-13-22 Mom went to watch the 8th grade boys play football and the cheerleaders cheer them on!

9-17-22 I ran a virtual 5K in memory of Luke from my hometown who lost his battle with cancer.  They hold a 5K every year to raise awareness for childhood cancer and raise funds for other families battling cancer.

9-18-22 Jacen and Emie at youth group!
