July 2020 - Part 1 - Delivering Legos to Covenant Children's Hospital, Recycled Science Experiments, 4th of July and more!

7-1-20 We finally were able to deliver the 133 Lego sets to Covenant Children's Hospital!!!  It looked a little different this year because of Covid-19; we couldn't go inside the building!!! Thank you to everyone who donated!!!  He surpassed his goal of 120 sets!!!  Using random items to add more to his Star Trek console.
7-2-2020 Practicing with the switcher at church!!!
7-3-2020 Mommy Jacen night started with dinner and watching "Brain Games".  Then we tried some more Recycled Science experiments!  The first one was "Balloon Inflator".  Next up was a "Kazoo", but he thought it was more fun to force the bag and wax paper off the end instead of playing it :)  Then we created a "Marshmallow Shooter", but we didn't have any marshmallows, so we used a cotton ball.  Make sure to watch the videos because one is like a blooper reel!!!  Finally, we ended the evening with Old Maid and Go Fish!
7-4-20 We went to a friend's house for dinner and fireworks!!!  It is our annual tradition and always so fun!!!  Daddy always helps set off the fireworks!  Jacen likes doing the Roman Candles!
7-6-20 We decided to try another Recycled Science today; the "Ice Cream Maker" out of a Pringles chip container!!!  I actually tasted pretty good!  I think this has been Jacen's favorite so far!  Then that evening Daddy and Jacen played XBox!!
7-7-20 Jacen reading in his new chair he bought with his own money!!!  Then it was time to make ice cream again with the Pringles can, but this time we experimented and changed the recipe to make chocolate!!!!  Then in the afternoon we used the water hose to make a "water slide"!  We both had lots of fun!  Then that evening Jacen wanted to make ice cream again, so Daddy could see and try it!!  We went back to vanilla this time!
