July 2019 Part 4 - Hospice Grief Camp!

We love that Hospice of Lubbock still allows Jacen to attend Kaleidoscope, their yearly grief camp in the summer for kids.  Kyle and I volunteered again this year.  Pics that follow are of groups games, group activities, flying kites that have their loved ones names attached, more group activities, and finally the flower release in honor of our lost loved one.  There were lots of group discussion times that I did not photograph for confidentiality and to not distract from the processing of grief.

2019 July Part 3 - Jaxon came to visit and more!!!!

7-22-19 Jacen's cousin Jaxon came to visit!!!  We picked him up at the airport, then went to Holly Hop's for lunch and ice cream, then we went to the house to play, and that evening we were invited to the Bell's house for dinner!

7-23-19 The boys had fun playing at the house, we made sno cones, and then that afternoon we went to Blazin' Bouncers where they played for hours! Then that evening we made homemade pizzas for dinner!

7-24-19 We started out today with more play time at home, then we went to Science Spectrum to play and explore!

7-25-19 More play time at the house before Jaxon flew back!!!!  That afternoon Jacen went to his friend Glenn's house to play and have a sleepover.  I think they had fun!
