3-9-14 We had Small Group at the Treehouse at church, so the kids had a great time playing!!
3-11-14 We went to Chuy's for Mommy's birthday a day early since my birthday was on a Wednesday which is church night.  We took this pic of Jacen outside the restaurant  :)
3-15-14 Balancing his toys to make a creation.  He was very proud and excited!!
3-28-14 Kyle and I spent the day together celebrating Nathan.  Jacen wanted to go to school for TOT and letter H week celebration with Hamburger Happy Meals.  It was weird not having him there today, so we didn't take as many pics this year.  We donated money to Hospice and delivered cookie bars and brownies to Hospice and NICU.  We spent some time at the cemetery delivering flowers from us and Hailey.  Then we picked up Jacen early to go to the LCU Children's Memorial Garden.
That evening Jacen and I spent the evening at the park because Daddy had an event at the church.  We had lots of fun!!!
3-29-14 Daddy had the event at the church the next day too, so Jacen and I spent time playing at Science Spectrum and seeing the Penguin Exhibit.
3-30-14 Jacen was invited to a party at Ready, Set, Go!  He had a blast!!!
With his friend Ella :)

Spring Break 2014

Our Spring Break started a day later than planned because I was feeling under the weather, so instead of traveling to Goldthwaite Sunday we met Grandma, Grandpa and Blaine in Abilene Monday to drop Jacen off.  They spent the rest of Monday going to the Abilene Zoo and playing at the playground next to the zoo and had a blast.  They spent the day playing in Goldthwaite Tuesday.  While they were having a blast, Kyle and I had a relaxing few days in Fredericksburg.  We spent most of our time at the same cabin we stayed at for our honeymoon relaxing, watching the wildlife, feeding the fish and turtles. (Bed and Breakfast on Knopp School Road).  It was wonderful to get away from the real world for a few days.
Pics of the deer, fish, turtles, the cabins, and the chickens
Wednesday for lunch we met Grandma, Grandpa, Blaine and Jacen at Mamacita's in Fredericksburg for lunch.  The kind tortilla man shaped tortilla dough into a frog and alligator for the boys and gave them dough to play with :)
After lunch, Wednesday we traveled to Medina to see Kyle's grandparents.
Jacen and Daddy looking at the crusher at Kyle's grandparents company.
Jacen throwing a rock in!
Throwing rocks in the mud :)
After dinner Wednesday evening, Kyle, Jacen and I rode around Kyle's grandparents place enjoying being outside and the pretty scenery.
Thursday we spent the day back up at the company.

Spending time exploring by the river.

Jacen took this pic of the river :)
Water pics :)
Getting our feet wet pics.  We actually crossed the river twice and walked through the river for a while.  I didn't take any pics during that time.  I was more concerned about us not dropping our phones or ourselves in the river!!!
About to splash Daddy with water :)
Enjoying more time by the river!
Cactus on our walk back :)
Right before we left for the evening, Jacen got really brave and wanted to explore by himself!!
I loved the facial expressions!!!
On Friday, I asked Kyle to travel back through CampWood (out of the way) on our way home.  I hadn't seen my Grandma and Grandpa's grave in a while.
Also, I hadn't been able to go to my MawMaw's funeral in February, so I wanted to at least stop by. Pic of my PawPaw's stone that passed the May after Nathan passed in March of 2011.
This pic is of my Dad's parents.  I never met his Dad, he died before I was born.  The other side is my MawMaw Joyce.  The date of her passing isn't even engraved yet.  It gave me some peace to say bye.  My husband is a wonderful person to let me have the closure that I need.
After resting up on Saturday, we went to church Sunday followed by a last minute movie trip to end our Spring Break.  We had a great time watching the Muppets with the Tungates!!!
