It Has Been Two Years Since Our Precious Nathan Gained his Angel Wings

It has been two years since our precious Nathan went to be with Jesus.  We still miss him so much!!!  Kyle and I were able to take off again this year to spend some time remembering him and celebrating Jacen.

We started off the day with visiting Hospice of Lubbock and dropping off cookie bars, brownies, and a monetary donation to a Hospice family.  We also visited Dr. Gray's office and NICU to deliver brownies and cookies bars.  Then we went to Cast Iron Grill to eat lunch together as a family.  Next, we got balloons and flowers and made our way to the cemetery.  Jacen picked out 3 red balloons and after Daddy said a prayer Jacen released the 3 balloons to Nathan.  We read books and Mommy had some alone time.

Then we spent a few hours enjoying Jacen at his place of choice, Science Spectrum!!!

ToT Performance

The TOT performed during the halftime show of the Lady Raiders game of the NCAA tournament.  Unfortunately the Lady Raiders lost by one, but the TOT performance was cute!!!!

Color Run

Color Run Lubbock, TX

Laura convinced me to sign up on a team our coworker Connie created.  Then we convinced Holly like two days before because someone had a ticket they didn't want.  We had a great time and hope to do another one soon!!!!

The race started at 9, but because there were so many runners they started us in what I would call heats.  We actually started at 10am!!!!!  There were like 14,000 participants!!

 We all finished!!!!  I ran it in 33 minutes :)

Jacen Went to Dallas

March 19 - 21, 2013

Jacen flew to Dallas with Aunt Laci to spend time with more family on their Spring Break.  He got to see Grandpa, MiMi, Uncle EJ, Aunt Laci, Aunt Beth, Savannah, Aunt Tiffany, and Valerie.

Since Aunt Laci is a flight attendant for Southwest, she knows some of the pilots.  She knew the pilot that was flying and since Jacen loves airplanes and currently wants to be a pilot , she was able to introduce him to Brad.  He got to sit for a few minutes in the cockpit.  He was in "heaven" :)

He even got a window seat which is what he loves!!!

I know they had lots of fun, have a marshmallow and weiner roast, played with Valerie's dog, and lots more fun activities.
