June 2022 - Part 9 - Disney Cruise Part 7 - Ketchikan, Alaska!!!!

6-25-22 Our 3rd stop was Ketchikan, Alaska where we watched The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show where we learned about Alaska's logging history and were highly entertained and then we did the Axe Throw Challenge!  This was the most fun of all of our excursions!!!  Then we walked around Ketchikan for a little while before returning to the ship!  That evening we took more before dinner pics and then had a fabulous dinner at Triton's again!!  Jacen asked the server for ALL of the desserts tonight, so of course they brought us ALL of the desserts!!!  Fun towel/blanket creature again!!!  Jacen has decided he wants to be a cruise director, so the Edge staff made him a nametag for our door that says Jacen Cruise Director!!!  They also did a dance off in Edge!

June 2022 - Part 8 - Disney Cruise Part 6 - Juneau, Alaska!!

6-24-22 Our 2nd stop was Juneau, Alaska!!!! We chose to do whale watching through Stephen's Passage!!!  Not only did we see humpback whales but we also saw Sea Lions, beautiful scenery, all 3 of Juneau's glaciers, a research crew that was collecting data on the humpback whale Flame, Alaskan chocolate, and eagles!!!!  Then that evening we took pics before dinner, and then for dinner we were in Tiana's Place again.  There was entertainment by Tiana and the band like before but we had Mardi Gras beads and had a celebration with limbo at the end which our server had Jacen help with where he held a "saxophone".  Then they convinced me to join in too!  We took another evening family pic on the deck then Jacen hung out with his friends while Kyle and I went to the Frozen show!  We ended the evening with some more deck pics!

This whale was "logging" which means it was resting, so it appears to look like a log!
