5-24-19 I traveled to San Antonio to meet Kyle who was already there for a conference. We stayed at the Hyatt on the Riverwalk. Our main goal was to watch the traveling Broadway musical Hamilton at the beautiful Majestic theatre. It was a fabulous musical. If we ever make it Broadway, we will probably see it there, too! We also enjoyed eating Mexican food and ice cream, walking on the riverwalk, going to El Mercado to get vanilla and pastries, walking to Hemisfair park, and just relaxing. It was a fabulous get away weekend!!!

5-30-19 Opening his birthday present a day early since we let him pick it out anyways :)
5-31-19 We started out the boys' birthday day by delivering chocolate chip cookie bars to Dr. Gray's office, the Hospice of Lubbock office and NICU!! Then it was time to deliver the Legos to Covenant Children's Hospital. When Kyle contacted the Covenant Foundation about delivering Legos they asked if they could do a video of Jacen and of course he said sure. We didn't realize they meant TV stations. But we are grateful to carry on Nathan's memory and, with the help of lots of friends and family, donate Legos to the hospital so that the sick children to have something to do while in the hospital. Then we went to Shipley's Donuts to get some donuts on their opening day! Next stop, Main Event to spend the afternoon playing as a family!!
