November 2023 - Part 3 - New York Part 2

11-21-23 We started out the morning by riding the subway, so that we could take the ferry to see the Statute of Liberty.  We were able to get tickets to the pedestal part of the statue.

Next up we walked to see Trinity church where Alexander Hamilton is buried.

Then we toured the 9-11 Memorial and Museum.

We also had tickets for a Hop on Hop off bus tour, but unfortunately it was raining, so our tour was cold and rainy :) 

For dinner we had to try New York pizza!

Then after dinner it was time for our 2nd Broadway show at the Lyric Theatre where we saw Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.  

November 2023 - Part 2 - New York Part 1

11-20-23 We flew out of the Lubbock airport headed to New York City to sight see as well as see the Texas Tech band perform in the Macey's Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Our first Broadway show for the trip was SIX at the Lena Horne Theatre!  The show was fabulous and Jacen got 5 out of 6 of the cast's autographs afterwards!
