December 2021- Part 2 - Christmas Lights, Christmas Celebrated Early, and More!

12-11-21 We stopped by Starbucks to get hot chocolate and then went to look at Christmas lights!

12-13-21 We took Christmas candy to both of our places of work as well as Jacen took Christmas candy and giftcards to his teachers!

12-14-21 Jacen got his braces off!!!!

12-18-21 We celebrated Christmas early since we would be in Washington DC on Christmas Day!  We hung Nathan's ornament for this year.  Then we opened our stockings!!!  We all got lots of candy, Jacen got money, and the dog got a new toy and treats!!  I think Jacen was most excited about the dogs toy and treats!  Jacen also wrote me a sweet note :)  Then Jacen opened his Christmas gifts:  Wear - Frenship Hoodie, Read - Garfield Comic Book and Wimpy Kid books, Want - New Water Bottle, Need - New Tennis Bag!  Then it was time for breakfast where Jacen drank hot chocolate using a hot cocoa bomb, we had breakfast muffin cups, biscuits and gravy, fruit, and cinnamon roll waffles while watching Charlie Brown Christmas! Then we played Apples to Apples and Ticket to Ride.  Next up was our Christmas Yum Box for lunch!  After that we made hot cocoa bombs from a kit a coworker gave Kyle for Christmas!!!  Then we played another game of Apples to Apples.  For dinner we had pizza, Jacen tried one of our hot cocoa bombs and we watched another Christmas movie!

12-19-21 We took a Christmas tree out to Nathan's grave.

12-20-21 Mackenzie came over to hang out and they played table tennis on the Nintendo Switch!

December 2021 - Part 1 - Family Game and Pizza Night, Tennis, FMS Christmas Plays, FHS Beauty and the Beast, and More!

12-3-21 Family game and pizza night!

12-4-21 Another tennis tournament where Jacen beat a member of the FMS Varsity team!!!  So proud of his improvements! Then that evening we went to Darios to eat dinner and then to the FHS PAC to see Beauty and the Beast!!  It was phenomenal like all of their plays!!!  I got to see former students Bobby (who came in to see the play from college) as well as Abby and Abi!!!

12-6-21 Mackenzie and Jacen couldn't wait to exchange their Christmas gifts until Christmas.  LOL!!!  Then that evening Jacen was a "sub" in a play at school because someone couldn't be there!

12-7-21 Jacen played Darren and Executive 3 in Carol, A Christmas in the advanced theatre's Christmas play!

12-8-21 After school, the Student Council went to Walmart to buy gifts for the Tiger Tree at school, returned to school to wrap them, and then had an Elf Christmas party.  The librarian asked if I would help, so I got to go as well and help out!

12-10-21 The advanced theatre got to perform their play again for the Bennett 5th graders! Christmas lunch at school was also today, so Daddy brought Chick-fil-A!  Then that evening the FMS Student Council was on the news for collecting $3000 for the U Can Share Food drive!  Then we had dinner at Bucket of Love which has fabulous food!

12-11-21 Jacen opened his Christmas presents from Grandpa and Mimi!!!  Then he played in the Toys for Tots Tennis Scramble while I worked on Christmas candy!
