6-16-20 Video game time!
6-17-20 Mommy and Jacen video game time! Then later on Jacen and Miles talked on the phone while playing games on the Switch! That evening Daddy and Jacen opened our "Super Yum Box from the United Kingdom. It was a lot of fun trying snack items from there! Then that evening Holly and I met up for a Pie Bar on the car visit!!!! There was a beautiful double rainbow that evening that the pics don't even do it justice!6-18-20 Miles came to play for the afternoon, and one of the fun things they played was 1 2 Switch!
6-19-20 Another running pic!! I continue to run every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!!! One of the things that Jacen and I did for Mommy Jacen night was to play Old Maid and Go Fish!!!!
6-20-20 We finally had a birthday party for Jacen!!! We tried to wait out the Coronavirus, but that didn't work so we went for a birthday outside!!! Even though not many friends were able to attend they seemed to have lots of fun!! We had the party at the Prayer Garden at church. We had cookies decorated by The Cakery with a Video Game theme!!! We did a Scavenger Hunt, played Find the Leader, Marshmallow Toss (no pics - Mommy was participating since we had an odd number), Stack the Cups, Jumbo Ring Toss, Limbo (no pics - Mommy had to hold the pool noodle), and then the kids wanted to play Leap the Brook. Then that afternoon and evening Daddy and Jacen played video games!
6-21-20 Jacen and Daddy started volunteering with the cameras at church for the online services!! Jacen loves to help with this ministry!!!! After church, we celebrated Daddy for Father's Day with a cheesecake from Pie Bar, a gift from Mommy and Jacen from Star Comics, and Jacen wrote in Daddy's book and included a pic like he does every year!
6-22-20 We decided to try out an experiment from his Recycle Science Book called "On a Roll" where a balloon "powers" a car. We tried it just as is first with marshmallows being used to attach the wheels on which didn't go well. But then we tried making holes in the milk lids to put the skewers directly into the lids, and it worked much better!!!
6-24-20 The 4th and 5th grade group called Livewires from church has been meeting on Wednesday afternoons for lunch, a Bible study, and an activity. This week's was a water slide, so I got to snap a few pics when I went to pick him up!
