October 2017 - Part 2 - Trip to Denver

10-13 to 10-16  Kyle and I flew to Denver for the weekend to relax and to go to a Denver Broncos game!  We had a great and relaxing time!  Saturday during the day we traveled by light rail to a nearby mall to shop for a gift for Jacen, to look around, eat Ben and Jerry's ice cream, and of course eat at cheesecake factory.  That evening we met up with the Cashmans at Elway's steakhouse and actually got to meet John Elway.  Then for game day the NFL Sunday night football bus was at the game, so we got to go in there!  We had redeemed points on our credit card for a flag experience.  So we were on the field before the game holding/running with a group of other people with the huge Broncos head flag.  That was such a neat experience!!!  Before the game, they had junior Broncos cheerleaders performing on the field.  Then the military was recognized and cancer survivors were honored at half time.  The parachuters that parachute in each game were awesome as well!  We had great 2nd row seats in the end zone.  Even though they didn't win it was nice to get away and go see a game!!
