Summer Fun - June Part 1

6/1/15  After Jacen's well check, where he weighed in at 54 lbs and was 49 inches tall, he and I went to Academy to buy him a bike for the summer.  Hopefully by the end of summer, we will be able to convince him to try riding without the training wheels!!  We also let Justice walk with us :)

That afternoon, Kambree and Brady came over to visit!!!!  They all had a lot of fun playing!

That evening, we went as a family to see Coleman play baseball again!  Jacen played with Coleman's 2nd cousin during the game :)

6/2/15 We signed Jacen up for Superhero Camp at Science Spectrum!  Day1 - He had a blast!  They learned how Superman and Spiderman got their powers, got to see a real spider, made a cannon that shoots air like Superman does, threw newspaper at masking tape to try to get it to stick, and played with Kinetic sand.

After Science Spectrum Camp, Jacen, Justice, and I went to the park by our house to play!

6/3/15 Day 2 of Superhero Science Spectrum Camp!   He made a friend named Grace :)  The second day they watched an experiment about a cloud being made, they made lightning, did stations with magnets, and played in the Kids Area.

6/4/15 Day 3 of Camp!!  He is on the far right in the back row :)  Day 3 they made Superhero capes, made a Superhero mask, made wristbands like Wonder Womans, participated in a scavenger hunt searching for the Earth, and played in the Kid Area and Upstairs.

That afternoon, we put together some Legos!  He was very focused.

And practiced using his Superhero cape that he made at camp!

And went to his first swim lesson at Seahorse!!!

That evening, he showed off his cape, mask and arm bands that he made at camp!!!

6/5/15 Day 2 of Swim lessons!

He had to jump off the side and diving board the 2nd day of lessons.  He was scared  of both, but afterwards he had a smile!

6/6/15 Silly Dog still loves to lay in the clean clothes :(

Drake, Tucker and Charlie Cagle came over to play, so we went to Science Spectrum and Bahama Bucks and had a blast!!!

On the last day of school, the 5th graders get to run the halls while the other grades cheer them on.  Jacen's class was in music at the time, so I got to see them as well :)  The students were running by so fast that I didn't get a clear shot, but the cute Kindergarteners were trying to get them to slap their hands :)
