April Pics Part 1

4/3/15 Good Friday - It was a holiday for Jacen and I but not Daddy.  We started our day at Krispy Kreme Donuts!!!

Then we stopped by PetSmart to buy dog food but of course we had to spend some time looking at the animals!

We stopped back by the house to give Justice some toys!

Jacen also opened his Easter gift from Grandma!

Then we spent the afternoon at Science Spectrum!!!

Jacen found a friend from school there too!

That evening we had family game night!!!!

4/4/15 Saturday - Jacen colored Easter Eggs!

And opened his card and gifts from us!

He also hunted Easter Eggs today, since Sunday is always so busy!  He used his Easter "bucket" they made at school!

We spent some time at the cemetery reading books and leaving an Easter Lily.

Then that evening, we went to a friends house to watch College Basketball!  Jacen had fun playing on the trampoline!

4/5/15 Easter Sunday!  Mommy wanted pictures before Church!

That evening we read over and looked at Jacen's Resurrection Eggs!

4/8/15  One of my students finally got me with a confetti egg!

March Pics Part 3 - Justice our New Dog

3-21-15 We got a new dog from The Haven which is an animal shelter!  His name was Ace, and Jacen renamed him Justice like Justice League :)  He is a Chihuahua who was abandoned with his siblings.  We are all in love with him!  He loves to snuggle!!!

3-22-15  He likes to play with his rope that Jacen picked out at Petsmart!

3-25-15  Jacen found some of Patches old toys to give him as well!

March Pics Part 2

3/13/15 - 3/15/15 Spring Break visiting Kyle's Grandparents!
It was nice to get away and experience the outdoors as well as visit family!

3/15/15 - 3/17/15 Next, we went to Goldthwaite to see my family!  Jacen had a great time playing with his cousins!

3/18/15 After returning from Spring Break, we got me a new car because mine was hit in the driveway by someone during an ice storm.

3/19/15 Grandma let Jacen bring a four wheeler home.  He loves it!

3/26/15 Visiting the Kindergarten area to see Jacen's artwork!  Cowboy Gingerbread and his wanted poster :)  They spent a few weeks learning about Texas!  They spent last Friday enjoying a Texas day.  I didn't get to go down there but he loved it!  They got to rope a pretend cow, eat chili, ride stick horses, see a real cow, and make a paper bluebonnet to name a few.

3/28/15 This was the 4th anniversary of Nathan passing.  We always try to spend the day celebrating Jacen and remembering Nathan.  We started out the day with a Cereal Party at Alamo Drafthouse!  We also ate lunch, I spent some alone time at the cemetery, we went by the Rock Garden at LCU, looked at Nathan's scrapbooks, and had movie night at home. We also posted the image below on Facebook.  We ended the day looking at the stars with Jacen's telescope.
