After breakfast at Cracker Barrel, we returned home for Jacen to open his Batman Lego presents from Mommy and Daddy.
After lunch, it was time to decorate for the party!!!! The Cakery did a fabulous job on his Lego cake!!!

I decided to try a game this year since Jacen and his friends are getting older. The two groups were supposed to race to build the largest tower!! Some of the kids had fun and some got upset :( Oh well maybe next year!

Jacen opening his present from Hailey after the party. He asked for Lego donations for Covenant Children's Hospital instead of presents for himself, so he opened this after everyone left. Thank you to all who made a donation. Pics to come soon when we deliver those to the hospital!!!!

After the party we went as a family to the cemetery to visit Nathan's grave. We read books, sang songs, and prayed. We tried like in years past to light the candles, so we could sing Happy Birthday to NeNe, but the wind kept blowing them out. :(
This day is always so bittersweet. We enjoy seeing Jacen growing up and enjoying his birthday party with his friends, but we miss having Nathan to celebrate with him.
