September Pics Part 2 - The Park, The Fair, and More!!!!!

Jacen is so fascinated by Patches' kennel.  He climbs in it whenever we don't get him in the car fast enough!! (No we do not put him there!!!!)

Last Friday Jacen and I spent the evening at the park.  He loved to slide which he usually won't do :)  I loved his facial expressions (sorry about the glare of the sun)

We took another wagon ride last weekend.  All of our wagon rides now have to include a stop to pet the horses :)

THE FAIR

We went to the Fair last Sunday after church.  We ate fair food, pet the animals, and looked at the Wilson Middle School art!!!!

Jacen preferred talking to the goats over petting them.  He talks to animals including Patches like they know exactly what he is talking about and wonders why they don't mind :)

Yesterday Jacen and I returned to the park for our evening together.  He wanted my sunglasses and to slide!!!  And Grandparent's he wants a bike and a football like some other kids had at the park last night :)

September Pics Part 1

It has been a busy few weeks, so I haven't had time to do a blog update.  So get ready for lots of pics!!!!

On our walks in the neighborhood there are these miniature horses.  Jacen wouldn't get anywhere near them for a while, but now he will pet them :)

LABOR DAY

We spent the day just the three of us.  We went to get donuts at Krispy Kreme.

Then we spent the rest of the morning at Science Spectrum.

JACEN'S FIRST DAY AT SUGAR N SPICE

We took pics dropping him off at the courtyard at church for extended care.  He had a great first few weeks.

Mom came in last weekend and we went to the Beth Moore conference.  It was wonderful!!!!  We enjoyed the experience with the praise team and the wonderful message.

Jacen got to spend the morning at church where Daddy was doing the technology for a Girl Scout conference.  He entertained himself very well watching movies on the computer and playing with his toys.

When we got to the horses, one of the owners was there and let Jacen get in the pen with the horses.  He wasn't sure what to think about that.  But the whole way back to the house, he wanted to get back in with the horses!!!

August Pics Part 3

I have started back to work at Smylie Wilson Middle school teaching Math again.  I am so blessed to be able to return to my same school, teaching math, with all my wonderful coworkers.  We chose to send Jacen to two different PDOs (one where we go to church and the other where our friend Courtney is the director) and a friend is keeping him on Fridays.  

Jacen had his first day of PDO (Sandbox) on Wednesday, August 24th.  Of course the crazy mommy that I am we had to take pics :)   We took pics on the way out and when we arrived there.  Jacen was exited about his napmat and backpack :)

This Thursday, we went to Monterey for Sugar N Spice open house to meet his teacher at his other PDO.  He seemed to love his room and teacher Terra.  We are excited about PDO!!!!
