4th of July

For the 4th of July we took Jacen to his first parade.  My Mom and Kevin went with us and while we were there we also saw Hailey, Michelle, and Tom.  We had a great time all watching the parade together!!!!

After the parade and walking around the street fair, we went to McDonalds.  While there Hailey gave Jacen a gift from their vacation. 

So after naptime, we had to try the water sprinkler thing that Hailey got him.  He loved it!!!!

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit this past weekend.  They enjoyed the weekend with Jacen while Kyle and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary!!!!  Thank y'all!!!!

I took Jacen to his first movie.  We watched Despicable Me with some friends from church.  It is a morning movie time for kids in the summer, so it was only a $1.  Yay!  He stood the whole time mesmorized!!!!

He is supposed to be playing in his water table, but he figured out how to turn on the water hose.  He was drenched by the time he was done playing!!!

He did do something useful by watering the tree :)

Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day after we returned from our San Antonio vacation.  I am about 2 weeks behind on posts.  Sorry!!!

Jennifer's Visit

My friend Jennifer came to visit before we left on our vacation.  She is back in the states for the summer.  She has been a missionary in Africa for 4 years.  She will return in August to help with the orphanage.  She is so excited, and I was so excited to see her and catch up!!!!!  Jacen loved playing with her.  He asked for her for days after she left!!!
