June 2024 - Part 1 - Birthday celebration, Lego Delivery, Cheer Camp, and More!

6-1-24 We went to Claraboya to celebrate Jacen's 15th birthday a day late!

6-5-24 Thanks to all of the donations Jacen was able to donate 260 Lego sets to Covenant in memory of his twin brother Nathan!  The child life department sang Happy Birthday to him and gave him a balloon!

June 6-8 The Frenship High School Freshman, JV and Varsity cheer squads had their summer NCA camp at Frenship High School!

6-7-24 Granny B, PawPaw and Great Grandma came through Lubbock on their way to Wyoming, so we had dinner with them!

After dinner, the cheer squads had their cheer pics made, so I convinced Jacen to take a pic with me before he left!

May 2024 - Part 2 - Spring Game, State One Act Play competition, Broadway Dallas HSMTA, Birthday, and More!

5-15-24 Spring Game!!!  Jacen's debut as a JV cheerleader!

5-16-24 All Cheer Squad Party where they were put into families for the year!

5-17-24 to 5-18-24  Jacen and I headed to Austin to see the State 5A and 6A UIL One Act Play performances.  We ate at Torchy's before going into the 5A shows were we got to see some of his friends from Lubbock High Zoey, Zoe, and Sophie, but we forgot to take pics!  We stayed near a park in downtown Austin, so Saturday morning I ran and then got us Chai tea from a food truck!  Then we had breakfast from the hotel.  We then had some chill time at the hotel, followed by lunch at Mod Pizza, and then on to the 6A shows!  Sunday morning I walked to Starbucks before we left, and on the way back I saw the fun decorated bushes!

5-20-24 The 9th Grade Center Student Council leadership was recognized at the Frenship ISD board meeting with a Student Council Outstanding Pride and Patriotism Award by the Texas Association of Student Councils.

5-23-24 End of school year pic of the FMS staff wearing our shirts to support Loretta in her cancer battle!

5-24-24 Kyle and Jacen traveled to Dallas to watch the Broadway Dallas HSMTA awards to see some of  his friends from theatre to perform as well as to receive awards!  They also ate some yummy food and went to a Farmer's Market.
