December 2021 - Part 7 - Washington DC Part 5

12-27-21 Our last day in DC was all about Air and Space.  We started our day with a Metro ride and a bus ride to get to the National Air and Space Museum Hazy Center. This was Jacen's favorite day he said!!!  Then we took a bus and then Metro ride back to the National Air and Space Museum which unfortunately was very crowded and most of it was under construction, but we got to see a few neat exhibits.  Next up, we walked by the White House on our way back to Founding Farmers for dinner and dessert this time because the dessert the night before was so delicious!  We took one last Metro ride because that was the overall favorite thing to do according to Jacen on the whole trip!

12-28-21 Plane ride back to Lubbock.  We had a great trip and made lots of memories!

December 2021 - Part 6 - Washington DC Part 4

12-26-21 Today we took the Metro to Arlington National Cemetery where we took a trolley tour, President Kennedy's gravesite, watched the changing of the guards, and stopped by a precious family from church's son/brother's grave. Then we took the Metro back to see the National Museum of American History.  For dinner we returned to the Elephant and Castle British Pub for dinner and then went to Founding Farmers for dessert!!
