10-21-21 Jacen filling in as Horatio in another class's play because they had someone who was sick!
10-22-21 Kyle had bid over the summer for backstage passes to a Moonlight Musicals play and won, so we were able to use them for The Addams Family!! The director Mr. Sallee was awesome at coordinating our backstage experience. We arrived early, ate dinner, had a tour of the stage, backstage, and the booth all before the show even started. He allowed Jacen to come up after intermission and do one of the light changes. Then afterwards we got to get a picture on stage with the whole cast. Then we got to go backstage again and see how a show is shut down for the night. It was an awesome experience!!!
10-23-21 Practicing tennis with Mackenzie again, dinner at Rosa's and silliness in the car!
10-24-21 Yum Box from Indonesia and a special Halloween box where we played a game with candy from around the world!
10-26-21 Another tennis match! This week Jacen and Gavin were partners and won their doubles match! He also won his singles match!!! Then he hung out with Coach Reid and Mackenzie watching the other players and then a fun double pair up with Coach Reid and Jacen against Mackenzie and Emery!
10-27-21 Halloween event at church!!! Mackenzie came and helped Jacen hand out candy!
10-29-21 Dress up character day at school, so they went as Harry Potter characters! Then that evening we helped with the monthly Fiesta Friday (special needs parents night out) at church where they do trick or treating, so Jacen and some friends handed out candy! Then they played some sort of ping pong game at the end!
10-30-21 Early Saturday morning Jacen had his singles tennis tournament for the fall. He won his first one, but lost the second match.
10-31-21 Jacen was invited to go Trick or Treating with Mackenzie so he dressed up in his Slytherin costume from Harry Potter!
We ended the night giving him candy from us!
