December 2017 Part 3 - Helicopter Christmas Light Tour, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, and More!

12/23/17  We took a helicopter ride to see Christmas lights around Lubbock.  It was a lot of fun and a neat experience since none of us had been in a helicopter before!  The view was magnificent and the pictures don't do it justice!!!  Jacen of course wanted to sit up front with the pilot!

12/24/17 Christmas Eve!  We watched Home Alone 1 and 2, worked on the rest of his Lego Advent calendar, went to Candlelight Service at church, and drove around to look at Christmas lights!  Finally, right before bed we set out cookies and milk for Santa!

December 2017 Part 2 - Pokewalk, Class Christmas Party, Legos, and More!!!

12/10/17  Pokewalk at Texas Tech and by our house!

12/15/17 Mommy and Jacen night working on his Double Decker bus!

12/16/17 Star Wars: The Last Jedi at Alamo!  Then that afternoon Jacen hung his ornament for this year: Groot!  We also hung the ornament we got in memory of Nathan as well as the dove ornament we bought from Hospice of Lubbock!  Then we spent the evening working on the double decker bus some more!

12/20/17 Playing air hockey before church!

12/21/17 Jacen's class Christmas party.  They played a game where you unwrap the saran wrap until the person next to you rolls doubles.  Whatever you unwrap you get to keep!  They also had breakfast, made a reindeer out of a candy cane, and took a class picture!  They did other things too, but I had to get back to my students!

12/21/17 Our 5th graders have Free Market on party day, and one of our students wanted to take a picture of the 5th grade team!

That evening Jacen and I blew bubbles!  He also had fun popping them!
