May 2017 Part 3 - Jacen's Birthday Party!!!!

5-20-17  Jacen wanted a Pokemon themed birthday party this year, so we had a fruit tray and cookies that looked like Pokeballs!!  He also wanted his party at Legacy Play Village, and even though it was windy the kids had lots of fun!  This year he asked for Lego donations for Covenant Children's Hospital again!  He had some friends from school and church as well as some cousins come!

He released his balloons to NeNe (Nathan) along with his remaining friends and cousins who sent their balloons to Nathan as well.  It was very sweet and thoughtful that they all wanted to participate with him!

Afterwards, we ate at McAlisters with Grandma, Aunt Amy, Madisyn, and Blaine before they headed back to Goldthwaite!!

Some of his friends got him gifts in addition to their donations, so he opened those at home :)

May 2017 Part 2 - Walks, Uswirl, 2nd Grade Awards Ceremony, and More!!!

 5-14-17  Mother's Day Pics continued from last blog.  Mother's Day!!!  We started the morning with gifts from the boys (gifts from school as well as a giftcard to Woodhouse Day Spa, a Harry Potter Gryffindor pen, and my picture and note from Jacen in my Mother's Day journal.)  After church we went to Chuy's for lunch and Pie Bar for dessert.  Then I went to the cemetery to read, sing, and pray.  Finally, we went on a walk and got Raising Cane's for dinner!

May Part 1 - Crave, Wednesday night church, Superhero Day, and more!

5-1-17  My friend Holly and I went to Crave!  It was really yummy!  And yes we both ate two desserts :)

5-3-17 Singing competition in Bible class tonight!

5-5-17 Superhero day at school because our teachers are superheroes!  The 2nd grade teachers also had the kids make Mother's Day items for us, so they asked Moms to come down early today to get our stuff :)

5-6-17 Our foster son's birthday party was today.  Brady, Jacen, and Emerson enjoying some of the cupcakes!  That afternoon we took a walk at Tech.  The boys had fun chasing each other!  Then to wrap up the evening we had pizza and movie night!

5-7-17 After church today, we had Sunday Funday with Food Trucks and Bouncers!  The boys and the Stanley kids had a blast playing together!

5-9-17 Chick-Fil-A for dinner for our Foster Son's birthday!!!

5-13-17 Daddy and Jacen went to the movies together to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.  Then that afternoon it was time to play outside and cars inside!  Then we ended the day with Pizza and Movie night!
