Summer Fun - June Part 3

6/14/15 Family walk while Jacen rode his bike to see the animals in our neighborhood :)

It looks like Jacen is having a staring contest with the miniature horse :)

6/15/15 Swim Lessons!  All of the water splashing is Jacen :)

He is jumping in towards the shallow end and swimming away from his instructor because he decided he was afraid of the deep part :(

Evening walk to see the animals again and walk the dog.  Jacen wanted to walk this time, so he could walk Justice!

6/16/15 Father's Day Craft at Chick-Fil-A :)

6/17/15 Swim Lessons! I didn't get any pics of the actual lesson, but just playing afterwards today.

6/18/15 Swim Lessons!  Jacen had a hard day the day before, so I think it was the owners son helped him out one-on-one tonight.  He convinced him that he could swim in the deep part and to have confidence.  We appreciated him so much tonight!

6/19/15 The last swim lesson!!!  He did great!  His instructor had him swimming back and forth between the two sides in the deep part as well as from the shallow across the deep end to the rope and back.  He had a great day and told me that jumping in and swimming all the way across and back was his favorite part!!!!  Yay!!  We have a happy swimmer now!!!!

Swim Test time!  They threw him in and he was supposed to swim back to the edge of the pool all by himself.  He thought he had to swim to the other side and back though, so you see he swim to the other side instead.  Oops!  We need to work on following instructions!  In his defense, that is what he was practicing during class that day.  He did it all by himself!!!!  Yay!!!

There was still time left during the lesson, so he kept practicing with his instructor!!  This guy was awesome like the guy the day before!

He graduated!  He is on the back of the diving board because he was the tallest graduate :)

Emma joined us to swim and play for the day :)

Summer Fun - June Part 2

6/7/15  Jacen and Mommy before church :)

6/9/15 Day 2 of VBS - Kambree, Jacen, and Colton :)

As I was prepping a salad for dinner, Jacen decided to use part of a bell pepper as tongs to eat lots of the veggies but in this pic he was grabbing onions :)  

The pics below are the food that Kyle and I take to St. Benedict's when we go serve with the rest of our group who make spaghetti.  Each time we go we are humbled and blessed by our service there.  If you have ever considered serving the homeless, we recommend St. Benedict's. 

6/10/15 Day 3 of VBS!!

After VBS, we went to eat at Double Dave's with Daddy, Mommy, Jacen and Kambree :)

Then Jacen and Kambree played all afternoon :)

That evening, we met up with Kambree's family for the VBS celebration :)

6/13/15 Water Rampage!!  Jacen was invited to a birthday party, so Mommy and Jacen went and had a great time!

Making the water pour out above his head.  His expression is priceless :)

I think by the end he managed to pull all 3 ropes at the same time to make lots of water flow!!!
