Patches our "first" child who got us through some tough times. He was my comforter and protector through many fertility treatments. He was our dog who was always there and happy to snuggle, play, steal things for attention, my broom in the kitchen (Kyle will now know how messy of a cook I really am), comforter, our "first" baby, Nathan's protector, company when one of us was alone in the house, guard dog, and friend. We will miss him!! It is so quiet in the house now.
The following pics are from the last few days we had with him after finding out he had new bladder stones not a month after he had surgery to remove previous ones. We were out of options and knew he would become uncomfortable soon, and we would have to put him down. We tried to make the most of the last few days he was with us.
