HALLOWEEN

Jacen had lots of opportunities to celebrate Halloween this year.

He went to the Pumpkin Patch with his friends Briley and Avery :)

He got to wear his costume to both of his Preschools.  He preferred our real stethoscope to the fake one that came with the costume.  He knows way too much about medical equipment!!!

He visited Dr. Gray's office on Friday morning to show off his Doctor costume!!!

He loves Lacy and all the girls at the office!!!! 

He seems to fit right in at the office.  Maybe we have a doctor in our future :)

He also had the opportunity to go to Kyle's old department to visit his previous coworkers.  That same day he went to Science Spectrum with Briley, Avery, and Zane.

Finally, we went to Trunk or Treat at church.

We stayed home tonight and enjoyed handing out candy instead of going out again!!!!!

October Pics

October 9th

We took our weekend wagon ride to see the horses.  Jacen is more interested in talking to them instead of petting them.  He wanted to stop to the see the miniature horses and the "big" horses. 

After the wagon ride, we took his tricycle to the front yard.  Jacen enjoyed having the sidewalk and driveway to drive on.

October 10th

Daddy took Jacen to McDonald's for supper, so I could scrapbook for the evening.  It was great down time!!!!  And Jacen loved it because he got to drink Dr. Pepper.  Shame on Daddy!!!

October 14th

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and we went to the park to play!!!!

Our weekly wagon ride to see the animals.  This time we saw the donkeys!!!!

October 19th

Daddy snapped a picture of Jacen reading books one morning before preschool.

We spent the day shopping for Halloween.  We found Jacen's Halloween costume, bought candy, and went to the Pumpkin Patch.  We took some pictures of Jacen :)

He has started making this goofy smile!!!

We bought a Mr. Potato Head decorating kit to make a Cowboy Pumpkin :)

Jacen really enjoyed it, but didn't understand why I wanted him to leave the pieces alone once they were placed.  So we played with Mr. Potato Head afterwards!!!

Corn Maize

We spent 3 hours at the Corn Maize on Saturday.  We enjoyed BBQ lunch, looking at the water, seeing the animals, taking a hay ride, going through a kid maze, and going halfway through the corn maize.  It was a wonderful family day!!!!!

KID MAZE

He had a blast doing the Kid Maze.  He went back to it over and over.  We loved his facial expressions in these three pictures.  He seemed to be loving it in two and in deep concentration in the middle one.

Jacen loved it at first.  He was just running and telling us where to go!!!  Then he got tired and wanted to be carried :(  We only went halfway through.  He definitely reminded us to enjoy our time the three of us today and not just worry about finishing the maize. 

He was very interested in the corn signs throughout the maize.

He kept wanting to go in the corn field not on the path.  He stood in this spot for a while drinking his water.

THE HAY RIDE

He picked out a few pumpkins and then put them back.  He didn't want to take one with us.  Maybe we will make it to another pumpkin patch to buy some pumpkins.
